Various Common Properties Of PP Nonwoven Fabric

(1) physical properties: PP non-woven fabric is non-toxic, tasteless and highly crystalline polymer. It is one of the lightest varieties of all plastics. It is especially stable for water and water absorption of 14h in water.

Only 0.01%. The molecular weight is about 8~15 million, and its formability is good. However, because of the large shrinkage, the original wall products are easy to sag, the gloss of the product surface is good, and it is easy to color.

(2) mechanical properties: PP non-woven fabric has high crystallinity and regular structure, so it has excellent mechanical properties. Its strength and hardness and elasticity are all higher than that of high density PE (HDPE).

The outstanding feature is bending fatigue resistance (7 * 10^7), opening and closing, bending and bending without damage trace, dry friction coefficient is similar to nylon, but it is not as good as nylon when oil is lubricated.

(3) thermal performance: PP non-woven fabric has good heat resistance, melting point at 164~170 C, products can be sterilized at temperatures above 100 degrees centigrade.  Under the action of external force, it is not deformed at 150.

The embrittlement temperature is -35 C, and the brittleness will occur at lower than -35 C, and the heat resistance is not as good as PE.

(4) chemical stability: PP non-woven fabric has good chemical stability. Besides being attacked by acids, it is stable for all kinds of chemical reagents, but low molecular weight aliphatic hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons and so on.

It can soften and expand the PP non-woven fabric, and the chemical stability increases with the increase of the crystallinity. Therefore, PP non-woven fabric is suitable for the production of Russian and Chinese chemical pipelines and accessories, and the anti-corrosion effect is good.

(5) electrical properties: the high frequency insulation performance of non-woven fabrics is excellent, because it hardly absorbs water, so the insulation performance is not affected by humidity, and has a higher dielectric coefficient, and increases with temperature.

It can be used to make electrical insulation products that are heated, and the breakdown voltage is very high. It is suitable for electrical fittings. It has good resistance to voltage and arc resistance, but it has high static electricity, and it is easy to be aged with copper.

(6) weatherability: nonwovens are sensitive to ultraviolet radiation. Adding Zinc Oxide thiopropionic acid, cinnamon fat and carbon black similar cream in February can improve its aging resistance.
