Nonwoven fabrics are fabrics that do not require spinning and weaving. They are made up of staple fibers or filaments which are braced randomly or directionally to form a network structure and then reinforced by mechanical, thermal or chemical methods. Simply put, it's not a piece of yarn interwoven and knitted together, but the fibers are directly bonded together by physical means, so when you get the sticky weights in your clothes, you'll find that you can't pull out one thread. Nonwovens break through the traditional textile principle, and have the characteristics of short process, fast production, high output, low cost, wide use, and many sources of raw materials.

Its main uses can be roughly divided into:

(1) Medical and health cloth: surgical clothing, protective clothing, disinfection cloth, masks, diapers, women's sanitary towels, etc.

(2) household decoration cloth: wall covering, tablecloth, sheets, bedspreads and so on;

(3) with the use of cloth: lining, adhesive lining, floc, stereotypes cotton, all kinds of synthetic leather cloth and so on;

(4) industrial cloth: filter materials, materials, cement bags, geotextiles, coated fabrics, etc.

(5) agricultural cloth: crop protection cloth, seedling raising cloth, watering cloth, thermal curtain, etc.

(6) others: Space cotton, thermal insulation and sound insulation materials, oil absorbing felt, cigarette filter, bag, tea bag and so on.

Classification of non-woven fabrics:

1, Spunlaced Nonwovens

The spunlace process is to inject high-pressure fine water into one or more layers of fiber nets, so that the fibers intertwine with each other, so that the fiber nets can be strengthened and have a certain strength.

2, heat bonded non-woven fabrics

Thermal bonded non-woven fabric refers to the fiber-like or powdered hot-melt bonded reinforcement material added to the fiber mesh, and then the fiber mesh is heated, melted and cooled to form a fabric.

3, pulp airflow mesh non-woven fabric

Air laid non-woven fabric can also be called dust-free paper and dry papermaking nonwovens. It is the use of air netting technology to loosen the wood pulp fiberboard into a single fiber state, and then air-flow method to make the fibers agglutinate on the screen curtain, fiber mesh and then consolidated into cloth.

4, wet non-woven fabrics

Wet-process non-woven fabric is a kind of fabric which is loosened into single fiber and mixed with different fiber materials to make fiber suspension pulp. The suspension pulp is transported to the netting mechanism. The fiber is netted and then consolidated into cloth in wet state.

5. Spunbonded nonwovens

Spunbonded non-woven fabric is a kind of non-woven fabric which is formed by extrusion and stretching of polymer to form continuous filament. The filament is laid out into a net. The net is then bonded by itself, thermal bonding, chemical bonding or mechanical strengthening to make the net into non-woven fabric.

6. Melt blown nonwovens

Melt-blown nonwovens process: polymer feeding - - melt extrusion - - fiber formation - - fiber cooling - - Netting - - reinforced into cloth.

7. Needle punched nonwoven fabrics

Needle-punched non-woven fabric is a kind of dry non-woven fabric. Needle-punched non-woven fabric is used to reinforce the fluffy fiber mesh into cloth.

8, stitched woven non-woven fabrics

Sewing non-woven fabric is a kind of dry non-woven fabric. Sewing method is to use warp-knitted coil structure to reinforce fiber mesh, yarn layer, non-woven materials (such as plastic sheet, plastic thin metal foil, etc.) or their combination to make non-woven fabric.
